Welcome to Why I WAH

When I was thinking of an appropriate name for my blog, I decided on Why I WAH for the simple reason that I'm not only trying to be successful at working from home, but I want to help others do the same. It is not always easy to work from home no matter what anyone says. You have to have the drive and dedication to getting the job finished. Many times you will not have a boss breathing down your neck to finish an assignment. So, you also have to think about why you want to WAH, as well, and hold that close to give you the perseverance to work at it.

Are You A Quick Typist? Try out TicketPuller.com

Today’s post is about TicketPuller.com.  This is a website that will pay people that score tickets for big shows.  Now, you will not be responsible for using your personal credit card information or anything like that.  They will provide you with payment information if you can get tickets during one of their sessions.  Basically, an event will have tickets go on sale, and this type of company has customers that want those tickets, so they hire people who can go online during the session.  They pay about 5% of the ticket purchase price and do offer commissions.

Pros:

  • Easy going scheduling
  • Pays through PayPal about a week later
  • No fees
  • Not using your own credit cards

Cons:

  • Frequency of sessions might be few and far between depending on demand
  • If order is canceled, your payment will be, as well
  • Must be ready when a session is starting as it probably goes pretty quick

Overall, this seems like something that might be worth a look.  It will not be something that you can use as a regular check, but perfect for a little extra spending cash.  Have you worked for TicketPuller or a similar company?  Think you might apply?  Comment below and let everyone know about it.
