Back again with some information on that recent interview I gave about WAH. It focuses on me being a work at home mom, but remember these opportunities are perfect for those that find themselves at home wanting to supplement their income from their "day job", those that are unable to either find a traditional job or those that are unable to work outside of the home. Everyone has their own story as to why they turn towards trying to find a WAH position.
Click here for the link to part one of the recent interview that I gave.
The great thing about this interview is that it was done by a fellow WAHer, who also happens to be my Aunt. Be on the lookout for a post regarding writing for the Examiner to come in the future.
A quick note on the picture: this was from a wedding this past year and only shown in my browser was me with my cousin and my little one. So, no, my four year old is not as big as me. Not just yet anyhow. If you actually click on the picture, then you can see my oldest, as well. My "mom" hairstyle is finally growing out, by the way, and one of my resolutions is to shed some of those extra pounds.
To those individuals that are finding my posts, please be sure to go into my older posts as they are still valuable. If you find a link or incorrect information, send me a quick message. I will get it fixed or researched for you. For those that find me and live in other countries, I do not mention if the position accepts applicants from around the world, but check it out. If you are interested in one, send me a note. I will see what I can find out for you what their location restrictions are.
One stay at home mother’s guide to navigating the world of WAH (a.k.a. work at home) opportunities with over 15 years experience and still learning.
Welcome to Why I WAH
When I was thinking of an appropriate name for my blog, I decided on Why I WAH for the simple reason that I'm not only trying to be successful at working from home, but I want to help others do the same. It is not always easy to work from home no matter what anyone says. You have to have the drive and dedication to getting the job finished. Many times you will not have a boss breathing down your neck to finish an assignment. So, you also have to think about why you want to WAH, as well, and hold that close to give you the perseverance to work at it.
