This is a mystery shop company. Now, you may have heard that all WAH mystery shopping opportunities are a scam. This is not true. However, if you have a company sending you emails asking you to pay a fee for mystery shopping or that you are going to make a huge amount of money mystery shopping there is an extremely good chance that they are trying to scam you. There are actual companies, like the one in today's post, that do pay individuals to go and do some shopping at certain stores. Just keep in mind that you are not going to make a large amount of money during a shop and that you have to pay attention to a large amount of information that you will have to report back on. My experience with mystery shopping has been very good. I've done several shops for different companies and gotten paid for it. I do not know anyone that is able to pay all of their bills just doing mystery shopping personally, but if you are looking for a way to shop and make a little extra money this can be a great gig.
You are able to sign up for free to work for this company. After you sign up and are approved you can look over the jobs that are available in your area. Many times you have to watch a training video or read over training materials and pass a test to be approved to do certain jobs. Before you select a job always be sure to read the instructions carefully. Sometimes you may have to complete the shop at a specific day and time or return later on to make a merchandise return. Also, you are going to want to go over the compensation for a job, especially if it is one that is a distance from your house in light of gas prices. Many times you are paid a shop fee and a reimbursement fee for any purchases if they are required. Make sure that you do not go over the amount they specify as you will only be reimbursed the amount they give you in the instructions. Be on the lookout for mystery shops that need to be done in a hurry. Many times they will post a higher shop fee for these as they need to be done quickly. Mystery shopping is not easy if you are not a detailed oriented person. They ask a large amount of questions that you have to remember what you are looking for without looking at the form. No one can know that you are performing a mystery shop unless the instructions tell you to inform someone. I've never had one like that though. In order to have your job approved you will need to follow every instruction they give you. Otherwise they will not pay you for your work. I never had a problem like this, but I've heard it happen to others.
